Good Times ist eine Hommage an die Musik der Pianotrios der 60er Jahre und vor allem an die Eltern der drei Freunde Ulf Kleiner, Hanns Höhn und David Meisenzahl.
Die Jazz-Liebe der Eltern ermöglichte den Dreien von Kindesbeinen an
Schallplatten wie ‚Soul Espaniol‘ von Oscar Peterson und deren leichten, warmen
Klang lieben und schätzen zu lernen.
Mit einem betagten Stutzflügel zwischen all den alten Platten begab sich das Trio auf die Zeitreise in die gemeinsame Vergangenheit. An zwei Tagen entstanden die 11 Stücke im Wohnzimmer der Meisenzahls, wo die legendären Jazzpartys von Davids Eltern stattfanden. Erschienen ist Good Times bei Klangraum Records - gemastert wurde es einmal mehr von Tom Krüger.

Good Times is a homage to the piano trios of the 1960s and especially to the parents of the three friends Ulf Kleiner, Hanns Höhn und David Meisenzahl. It was their parent’s love of jazz that has enabled the three from an early age on to love and appreciate records like ‚Soul Espaniol‘ by Oscar Peterson and their warm and easy sounds. With the help of an old baby grand and in between all these old records the trio went on a journey through time into their shared past. Within two days the 11 tracks came into being in the living room of family Meisenzahl, where all the legendary Jazz Parties of David’s parents took place. Good Times has been published by Klangraum Records and has been mastered by Tom Krüger.
